International Union of Crystallography (www.iucr.org) provides grants to support young and early career scientists to participate in ElCryS24. To apply for the grant please sent the following documents to ElCryS2408@gmail.com subject “IUCr grant application”:

list of publications (if any)
supporting letter from your supervisor
document confirming your "young scientist" status (2)

AIC grants

Italian crystallography Association (www.cristallografia.org) provides grants to support young and early career scientists (members of AIC) to participate in ElCryS24. To apply for the grant please sent the following documents to ElCryS2408@gmail.com with subject “AIC grant application”:

motivation letter (1)
bullet resume
list of publications (if any)
supporting letter from your supervisor
document confirming your "young scientist" status (2)
proof of AIC membership

Deadline: 15^th June 2024

Decision on grant awards will be send out by 30th June 2024.

Grants will be awarded during ElCryS24, so you have to pay the registration fee and attend the school.

(1) Indicate your crystallographic background and interest in electron crystallography. One page maximum.

(2) Young scientists are graduate students, post-graduate students or post-doctoral fellows with a maximum age of 30 (exceptionally 35). Participants outside this age group may be considered Early Career scientists and are eligible to receive awards provided they are graduate students, post-graduate students, post-doctoral fellows or within five (5) years of receiving a graduate degree.
